Astoria-ACES’ Farm-to-Table Initiative

About the Initiative

The Farm-to-Table initiative began as an effort to support the local agricultural industry by sourcing different types of fruits and vegetables directly from farmers across the Philippines.

As Astoria-ACES began to see the demand for ube, and the issues faced due to the root crop’s seasonal availability, our team of chefs, agricultural specialists, food scientists, and quality control specialists developed a 100% pure ube product that is shelf-stable and easy to use.

Astoria-ACES’ Royal Ube Powder, the first product under the Farm-to-Table Initiative, is made from 100% ube sourced from local farms, supporting local farmers, and ensuring that high quality Philippine ube is used to make our products.

Our Ube Powder

100% dehydrated and pulverized purple yam, and has zero additives, preservatives, colorants, or extenders.

To ensure safety and quality, our Royal Ube Powder is produced in an FDA, Halal, and GMP-compliant facility under the careful supervision of food scientists and quality assurance specialists.

Astoria ACES’ Royal Ube Powder is part of Astoria’s Farm-to-Table initiative that sources fresh produce from farms across the country, supporting local farmers, and ensuring that high quality raw ingredients are used to make our products.

While raw ube is a seasonal product, our Royal Ube Powder has a shelf life of no less than one year at room temperature conditions, making ube available in its purest form all year round for use in both domestic and industrial kitchens. Additionally, one no longer must peel or trim raw ube, making the preparation process much faster and easier.

Our Royal Ube Powder can be rehydrated with warm water to make a variety of pastries, baked goods, desserts, and more. This includes traditional delicacies like ube halaya and ube cheese pan de sal. With the rise of ube as a culinary trend, our Royal Ube Powder can also be used in new and innovative applications such as ube mochi, ube panna cotta, and ube sourdough.
